The room was absurdly small, and we had to endure a dreadful smell, probably from the wallpaper. I expected an upgrade or at least some complimentary coffee but was met with a silly excuse about being fully booked. Can anyone hear the loud running water late at night? If you think this is luxury, you need a reality check!

Room was clean, service was great.
We found this hotel was easy to get to places that we wanted to go. Bars, restaurants and shops. Quiet hotel with characters, we would come back again and definitely recommend this place.

In general, apart from the mentioned disadvantages with sockets and Wi-Fi connection, living is very satisfied!! Wonderful room (double), comfortable bed, comfortable and cozy lighting system, bathroom - just a dream :) The interior of the hotel in general is very friendly and pleasant in communication staff! room was on the 1st floor (the reception floor - 0), near the elevator, noise was not very disturbing. For breakfast they gave amazing croissants, perhaps, most delicious in my life. I've been to the Eternal City six times before, I haven't eaten them anywhere at breakfast. restaurant upstairs with the terrace, as it turned out, was only open in summer, so I could not evaluate it in March.
very strange location of sockets in the room! At the bed, where they ask for themselves, there was not one (1 - in the bathroom, 1 - at the entrance to the room, by the mirror). quality of the Wi-Fi connection in the room left much to be desired. At least (web browsing) was enough, talking on Viber/WhatsApp, for example, was very difficult, because the connection was constantly interrupted. also the room by sight was a bath with a whirlpool mechanism, mechanism itself did not work. It did not upset me much, of course, because the bath is already beautiful, for all the other things is very comfortable! since I'm talking about disadvantages, I'll mention it. Breakfasts are usual (as in 3*).

The location is perfect, only minutes from Piazza di Spagna. The breakfast lacked variety though, primarily scrambled eggs.

great location with charming ambiance
The hotel offered a charming ambiance. The air conditioning worked well, providing relief during the heat wave. I particularly enjoyed the spacious bathroom with great lighting, perfect for getting ready during our outings. We also appreciated the lovely city view from our window.
The breakfast selection could benefit from more variety.

The location of the Plaza de Espana is the best that you've chosen and are completely satisfied with its proximity to many of the attractions that are in the center. The nearby streets have a lot of restaurants to suit all tastes, if anyone is interested in shopping, then everything is within walking distance. 5 minutes walk to the Plaza de Espana.
When we got to the car, it turned out it wasn't a promised minivan, it was a regular sedan. Come on. Sit down, we're going. When we drove into Rome, the driver got a call and said he had taken the wrong tourists. We asked him what now. He said no problem with you. He dropped us off at the hotel and left quickly. We tried to explain that my uncle was with a sign with my name on it and we approached him and why he was the wrong driver and why the driver didn't call me but waited for us to arrive at the hotel. The girl at the reception said that our driver was waiting for us at the airport and we had to pay for his services...

The loccation:near to all the major sites and metro without the madness of being in the center. The cleaning of the room. Wide bathroom, confortable room, not very big but cosy.
The breakfast should have more variety. The recepcionist of the day should be more friendly.

My recent stay was enjoyable, especially the breakfast spread, which had a fantastic variety of cold cuts and scrambled eggs. I also loved the quaint atmosphere of the rooftop restaurant. The only downside was the unconventional shower, which took some getting used to. I'd definitely return to this gem!

Great location, very good food and very helpful and friendly staff
We paid an extra 100 euro to get an upgraded room (deluxe double room). We were given room 404. The window was tiny and at ceiling level. There was not sufficient natural light. Artificial light was required all day.
